WJCC Democrats meet on the third Thursday of the month at 7 pm at our campaign headquarters at 113A Palace Lane, Williamsburg.  We won't be meeting in October -- plan to attend the two League of Women Voters CANDIDATE FORUMS instead.

League of Women Voters' CANDIDATE FORUMS

Wednesday, Oct. 16 and 17.

We're not holding our regular meeting this month so we can all attend and support our candidates at two forums sponsored by the Williamsburg League.

  • Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7 pm: Tommy Norment (Senate District 3); John McGlennon and his opponent (JCC Roberts District 3); and Gerald Mitchell with two opponents for Williamsburg-James City County Sheriff. James City County Board of Supervisors, Building F, Mounts Bay Road

WORK THE POLLS ON ELECTION DAY

We are still looking for folks to man the polls on Election Day, Nov. 5. Shifts are 2-1/2 hours long starting at 6 am, 8:30 am, 11 am, 1:30 pm and 4 pm.  We are also looking for folks willing to serve as precinct captains to set up and take down tables, banners and canopies and to help recruit folks to fill in remaining shifts.

Respond via email to democrats@wjccdems.com if you're willing to help -- let us know your preference for time and location, and we'll get you on the schedule.  We'll be doing a pizza party and training on Wednesday, Oct. 23 to hand out materials and update you on what you'll be doing.
