We'll elect officers and reorganize our committee at our meeting Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, 7-9 pm, at The Palace, 113A Palace Lane, Williamsburg. This reorganization is required every two years as part of the Virginia Democratic Party Plan.

Our 2020 slate of Executive Board officers is here, including their short statements.

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Renew your membership by 7 pm on Thursday, Jan. 16.  Click here to fill out the online form. Everyoneis required to renew their membership

  2. Come to the caucus on Thursday, Jan. 16.  Doors open at 6:30; no one admitted after 7 unless you're in line to be registered.

You can read the call to caucus here.

We're making a few changes to our bylaws.  You can review a marked-up version here.

We will also hear from Dale Brumfield, field director for the Virginians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty. He engages grassroots support all over Virginia with conservative, libertarian, democrat and faith-based groups to raise awareness on initiatives critical to VADP, including mental illness exemption and death penalty abolition.   He is a Richmond-area author, history writer and journalist.

Look forward to seeing you -- we have so much work to do together in 2020!
